Are you a dedicated and driven individual passionate about engineering, leadership, and community impact? The Denver Professionals Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) seeks a dynamic individual to step into the role of President and lead our chapter's initiatives for the next two years. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are committed to increasing the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

The NSBE Mission: The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community."

The Role: As President, you will drive our chapter's growth and influence. You'll collaborate with a diverse team, engage local stakeholders, and lead initiatives that make a lasting difference. This two-year commitment requires someone who is not only qualified but also deeply passionate about our mission and willing to dedicate their time and expertise to propel our organization forward.

How will a President be selected:

Phase 1 (September 1, 2023 - December 01, 2023): Candidates must submit a completed form outlining their interests and overall vision for the NSBE Denver Professionals Chapter. Our team of executives will review the initial submissions and determine the candidates who will move to the next round.

Phase 2 (December 02, 2023 - January 31, 2024): Candidates will be required to complete a short video sharing their vision with our wider NSBE community. This video will be shared on the NSBE Denver Youtube Channel and Social Media Platforms. Candidates will be required to actively lobby for votes and community support. Candidates will need to answer panel/ community questions at a designated members meeting to garner support.

Phase 3 (January 31 - April 31, 2024): The winner of the 2024 NSBE Presidential Election will be announced. The elected president will need to fill their executive board with at-least five (5) required positions. Complete hand over from current administration will be done during this time.
